With this latest one, I picked each sample from my most popular and favorite tracks, as well as unreleased tracks, and processed just as I do for releases -- including one shots, drum loops, synth loops, fx.
All of which I'd consider to be my signature sounds. Enjoy.
FANTASTiC August 19 2016 | 731 MB Dark, brooding and hard-hitting, Grime 2.0 is an uncompromising take on the underground sound being pushed by the current grime generation. This is how we roll!
Born in London but reinvigorated online, the second wave grime sound being pushed by the likes of Visionist, Mumdance, Slackk, Bloom and Rabit, Grime 2.0 is a darker, more experimental beast than its mid-00s predecessor, loaded with hard-hitting riddims, brutalist basses, metallic synth sonics, vapour-like pads and ominous FX. In total there’s 890MB of hardcore loops and hits to take the future sound of grime by storm.
Beats > Stacks of mutant 808-led workouts loaded with tight kicks, machine-gun hats and snare syncopations. All come with killer full mixes and all the stripped stems of custom bad-boy beats.
Bass Loops > Aggy square wave lines, sub-zero rollers, FM face-melters and dark pulses: 60+ weapons grade bass bombs custom tweaked to test the biggest systems. Key information and MIDI versions included by default.
Synth Loops > Angular metallic leads, diamond-cut synths, futuristic pads, ominous drones: forward-thinking melodic motifs in audio and MIDI format. Key information provided throughout.

FANTASTiC August 19 2016 | 187 MB The Drum Broker has teamed up with Sound Designer EARS to bring you a truly unique and one of a kind percussion kit. Texture, Crunch, & Percussion is a collection of 237 unique and unusual percussion sounds.
The inspiration for this kit, came from years of collecting unusual percussion and various instruments, as a beatmaker, EARS often found himself searching for strange acoustic percussive textures, which help create big wet crunchy snare sounds and shaker samples, bells, gongs, rattles etc. to layer with his hi hats and thicken the textures that will glue the break together, and influence the overall groove of the beat.
These samples were recorded in a bedroom studio, and as a result you will hear occasional distant traffic noise and birds, the charm of this kit is in the detail and colour the recordings, they aren't clinical sounds, but rather a creative approach to making useable samples that have tonnes of character.
All percussion samples recorded using Neumann KM-184 Microphones, running through a Universal Audio 6176 Channel strip, into a Neve 8803 Equalizer, tracking to Logic using the Universal Audio Apollo Twin.
All samples have been carefully edited and have had some Low end cleaned up with a gentle roll off, the top end has been slightly brightened using the Neve and then Maag Eq. Some subtle compression has been handled by the Manley Vari-mu.
Samples are Dry and Normalized as 24 bit Wav. files.
