All of the sounds included in this download have been lovingly recorded, edited and mixed through Martin’s refurbished Amek M 3000 Console, a classic desk which was previously used by no-one less but Pink Floyd.

    In the late 60′s and early 70′s, The Beatles tried to innovate the sound of drums covering the heads of the snare and toms with tea towels to damp the sound. This technique became very popular but has lost over the years.

    This drum kit has been recorded with 8 mics:

    Kick.
    Snare top and bottom.
    2 toms.
    Overheads.
    Room.

    It has 6 repetitions (round robin) and 6 velocities, but the most important is that on every mic you have the real and natural bleeding of the other parts of the drum. You can hear exactly what is recorded in a real studio situation. Is like having recorded the drum yourself!
    Control volume, pan and tune of each mic right in the GUI. It’s exciting to play and hear it!

    Tea Towel Drums 2.0

    We first launched "Tea Towel Drum" on March 1st, 2011. It quickly became a great success because of its superb sound, even today there isn't a vintage drum library than equals TTD.

    Now we update it to version 2.0, featuring:
