Theres not alot of info on this kontakt build , so I will offer up a bit of detail about this wonderful kit for KONTAKT format.
The drum set is recorded in a small home studio , its recorded very , very RAW ! I mean these drums are REAL , and CLEAN , and true to what a drum set should sound like.

The kontakt build of this drum kit is a very simple interface designed by 'Divergent Audio' . Its complete with a nice graphical drum kit on the front GUI , that is actually setup to be demo by striking each drum and cymbal in the GUI picture. As well , the slip page offers up a neat and tidy mixer for setting up each seperate drum / channel ; volume , EQ & other setting are done here.

EMP-3 is basically a normal soundset - but with one major difference. Instead of basing it on traditional synth waveforms - we took all those analog waveforms and processed them hard with the lowest quality MP3 setting we could find. Then we recorded the result back into Omnisphere in 96kHz and started to build the sounds from there.

Although we made this soundset with modern digital lofi in mind - by some strange paradox the waveforms have a very interesting analog-like instability to them. Although it’s the worst of digital encoding artefacts - when turned into sounds the digital artefacts brings out a unique almost organic quality.

We also provided the basic waveforms AND the Omnisphere Patches in two different compression levels: 8 and 16 kilobits per second. 8 kbps is a more lofi and rough while 16 kbps is a bit less dirty - it sounds like it’s a step closer to the original sound without compression. On some sounds the difference is barely noticeable - and on some it's quite radical. Please see the two collections of waveforms as a bonus and source material for your own sound design.

Apart from the single sounds we also included 50 multi sounds where we have created everything from complex layered sounds to small loops complete with drums and sequenced instruments.

EMP-3 contains basic 149 single sounds in the following categories (actually the double amount of sounds since they come in two compression rates).

Synthetica for Omnisphere 2 is a soundset/sample library of 196 patches and 221 custom made soundsources recorded from various analog and digital synthesizers. It consists mostly of pads, but also playable textures, poly synths, bells and a few basses.

The soundsources have been processed through a wide variety of plug-ins from Universal Audio, FabFilter, Lexicon, SoundToys, ValhallaDSP, u-he, Native Instruments, Zynaptiq, iZotope and others.
Most of the soundsources have been processed specifically to sound good when played polyphonically, and the result is everything from complex, evolving waveforms to simple, basic building blocks.

Synthetica is a collection of highly expressive and musical patches with lots of motion. They are mainly geared towards ambient, electronica, soundtracks for films, games and TV productions, as well as intros, outros and breakdowns for electronic dance music – or any other genres of music that needs an atmospheric touch.

All patches have mod wheel assignments, and all patches and soundsources have been tagged with Omnisphere’s tagging system for easy access. All soundsources are seamlessly looped.

This collection of loops and samples incorporates some beautiful recordings of real retro machines, including a Wurlitzer, Hammond, Jupiter 8, Moog Minimoog and Clavinet, organised into multiple construction kits containing solid synth and bass guitar lines, smooth chord progressions, warm analogue pads and timeless synth leads. Toby Baker has played keys for some of the biggest names in music, including Eric Clapton, BB King, Lulu, Sinead O' Connor, Shola Ama, Will Young, Heather Small, Elton John, Skunk Anansie and many more.

The loops and samples are organised for ultimate flexibility and ease of use.

The main sample pack is divided into 4 tempo categories of 90Bpm, 110Bpm, 120Bpm and 130Bpm. Each category contains 16 construction kits, which in turn contains 4-5 8 bar loop stems and a full mix of the entire groove.

No expense has been spared here, only the finest analogue gear, tube preamps and high end convertors have been used to create a beautifully warm, natural collection of loops and samples. Piano Noir is a virtual instrument sampled from a Guild & Sons square grand (or box grand) piano.

The instrument was sampled using a mid-side stereo microphone placement technique.

High quality condenser and PZM microphones were used to capture the instrument at a 48kh, 24 bit rate.

This Particular piano is a “piano forte”, constructed in 1879, leather and copper were used in the construction of the strings, giving the square grand a softer intonation than more modern pianos. One should keep in mind this is not a perfect virtual instrument, but more an authentic capturing of an aging and unique sound set.

In the piano's multi-layer velocity scheme the higher velocity ranges include key slaps and creaking artifacts.

A velocity sensitive “bell sweetener” was added to the instrument to enhance some of the lost high and low end characteristics of the instrument that have degraded over time. Some key interpolation was required as well since some keys and strings have been damaged beyond repair.

Piano Noir also includes four additional key switches that contain cinematic or ambient percussion, de-tuned tones, and sound effects derived from the same square grand and recorded in the same setting as the piano itself.
