Installation

For PC Users:

Use the included installer to select your NebulaTempRepository Folder to install
the collection there. Or, you can simply copy all "n2p" files to your
Nebula "Programs" folder and copy all "n2v" files to your "Vectors" folder.

For Mac Users:

Copy all "n2p" files to your Nebula "Programs" folder and copy all "n2v" files to your "Vectors" folder.

The Objective:

Multiple Microphone Setups
The need to have the artistic and technical flexibility in placing your instruments in an appropriate environment is also a key factor in our vision. The instruments were thus sampled with multiple microphone positions, using different microphone types, pre-amps and recording styles, allowing the user to mic the instrument according to the production needs, just as they would if they were recording a live musician.

Musical Performance
The necessity of having performers that bring the spirit of their "own" sound without being overbearing was one of the most important aspects of this project. The objective was maximizing the usability and flexibility, and keeping the performance of the recorded sound-samples breathing and full of life. Hence, the virtual instruments of the Broadway Big Band™ were recorded with world-class leading New-York musicians, who have been carefully chosen for the character in their musical performance and for their musical versatility.

Roland’s neat little SH-2000 monosynth was in some ways a pretty limited machine, built around a single oscillator plus a moderately squelchy filter circuit. Editing was very basic indeed: a series of 30 colourful tabs along the front edge of the instrument brought the onboard presets into play, while a little panel to the left of the keyboard offered rudimentary control over things like filter modulation, wow, ‘growl’ and portamento. Fiddling with these in real time while noodling away on the keyboard could yield some surprisingly cool effects.

Although it was never going to knock anyone’s System 100 off its pedestal, the SH-2000 scored rather well in terms of raw sound; plus it had little touches of insanity dotted around it that made it really fun to get to know – like the random note generator, which spits out an endless series of random notes while you wibble and wobble the control panel to your heart’s content. Plus, of course, there are some totally bizarre presets in there: as well as the usual fare (Violin, Tuba, French Horn) there are some rather more forward-thinking offerings (two flavours of Fuzz Guitar, for example) and such aural wonders as Frogman, Space Reed and GrowlWow. All in all, it’s an endearing little machine.

Our recreation will, if you like, behave and sound pretty much exactly like the original: single oscillator, mono, select a preset and dive in. But why do that when you can layer three presets, detune them, adjust the envelopes properly and then play the whole thing polyphonically? Yep, as usual with these cute little monosynths, things really come to life when you stack up some waves and grab a chord or two. All the little analogue unevennesses work their magic and everything sounds lovely and rich. In fact, you can even get some pretty cool experimental tones out of it – which isn’t bad for something that started out as a preset machine!

Sonically, the SH-2000 can be surprisingly weighty: there’s bass here if you need it. It’s also got a slightly raw, rusty quality to its midrange which we rather like (though you can of course tame it with the switchable 2- or 4-pole filter if you wish). All in all, this is a neat addition to our growing stable of oddball monosynths of yesteryear!

Invictus Guitar is an electric guitar library with two instruments: One with dry recordings and one amped containing around 5.7gb of samples each, an advanced pattern editor, a set of key switches for different sounds and more.

Now updated to V1.1. This update includes two new instruments called Poly-Lead and Poly Lead Amped.

To learn more refer to page 9 of the user manual.

The rhythm guitar instruments were also updated to fix a pattern to midi export bug.

To install the update extract and copy the files to the Invictus Guitar folder.
Overwrite the .NKI and other files when prompted.

This is a minor bug fix so you can leave current projects as-is and use the new scripts when starting a new project.
To get around the pattern to midi export bug in existing projects you can temporarily set the tempo to the default of your DAW before exporting.

Part of the proceeds of this work support my chosen charity,the Mumvuri Project. This is an orphanage that I am the patron of in my native Zimbabwe in Africa and this website is an integral part of my fundraising for them.

Sampled with ‘Prismsound Orpheus’ precision you will not be disappointed. Provided in 192 khz, 96 khz and 44.1 khz. 12 presets. Library size is 290 MB. 10 distortion kernels. Please note that these require a fully licensed Nebula Pro license to enjoy.

This is an exquisite sampling of a quad version of this underrated preamp. It has to rank as one of the best looking pieces of hardware. Clean, pristine,expensive, pure, open, fast are adjectives to describe this wonderful input stage. Designed to be used all over your mix as desired where you want a little more clarity in small doses. It is a well behaved pre with a relatively flat frequency response but filtered low end so this can be used to tighten up mixes with a hint of colour if so desired. Great on drums!!!

( WHAT IS A MOJO SET? A common complaint facing Nebula users is the GUI and the workflow which may require a number of steps that an algorithmic plugin simply avoids. For example, to get more than one band of equalisation in most cases you need multiple instances of the plugin and the bands don’t always interact like the hardware would. But the sound is stellar. You also have a limited level of dynamic levels with eqs in a lot of cases.

A common complaint of accurate algorithmic plugin emulations is that they possess the correct curves of an eq but lack the warmth, depth and 3 D qualities that the hardware does. In other words the mojo. They have fully interacting bands and often an accurate GUI that people are familiar with.

The Mojo series are samplings to give you the tone of the hardware that allows for a hybrid approach . Simply put, with Eqs and compressors you can use your favourite emulation plugin to control the action and curves and just use my presets to add the much needed clarity, 3D quality, dynamics, warmth etc. It is my attempt to allow you to use your favourite plugin but to add the mojo that plugins lack.

So the Mojo series does not compress or eq but give you the tone of the compressor or eq hence the need for the plugin. Mind you any plugin will do but the emulations are more accurate at getting you closer to the hardware. )

This is a cutting edge library guaranteed to make your mixes sound less digital. You will be amazed at how someone had placed a sock over your digital files. Sampled at the highest sampling rate available to date in Nebula Libraries and delivered at that rate. Native 192 khz sampling and also 96 khz available. Designed to work best at 96 khz. This means you need to be patient as the libraries load and resample internally. Don’t worry, the quality will speak for itself. You will be amazed at the improved transient response.

This does make for large files – trust me I have tried to make them smaller and felt a small compromise in quality. So the kind of person who buys my libraries must be clear about one thing. This is superb quality that comes at a price – larger than usual files. HDD space is fairly affordable now so I hope I don’t punish your discs – it’s not intentional, really it isn’t. It’s just that I am in pursuit of the highest standards of quality. You will require lots of RAM, a very fast cpu and oodles of HDD space. Apart from that you should be good to go. If you have a slow PC then you may have to bounce down your files.

Drawbar 350 is a transistor drawbar organ whose 8 voices are sampled from the original Dubreq Stylophone 350S - a professional version of the Stylophone with eight onboard voicings covering three sounds (Woodwind, Strings and Brass), plus vibrato, two styli, and a light-sensitive wah-wah control.

While the original Stylophone 350S employed toggle-switches to switch its tones in or out, the Rhythmic Robot Drawbar 350 replaces these with 12-stage drawbars, allowing a much more sophisticated tonal palette to be created by blending the raw tones. There is also control over envelope attack and release, and a batch of processing tailored to the aggressive transistor character of the raw samples. These include Anger (a tube drive), Fury (a Skreamer distortion pedal), Vibe (for vibrato) and Bite (which rolls the top end off if you want to tame things). Amp Cab simulation rounds out the effects and can help the Drawbar 350 to sit in a mix, giving it a convincing "live" sound.

This is a unique instrument whose tonal fingerprint is defined by the analogue transistor quality of the original 350S. Unprocessed it can sound very rough and raw, but the user interface incorporates a great deal of control to tame that sound. From punk organs to pads, aggressive leads to distant textures, this is a thoroughly unusual addition to anyone's sonic arsenal.
