Capturing Synthesizer DNA
When it comes to accurately reproducing the sound of timeless machines like Moog, Oberheim, Sequential Circuits, ARP, Roland and Yamaha vintage synthesizers, sampling their sound-generating oscillators is the only way to ensure truly authentic sounds. We selected some of the most sought after synthesizers, sourced only the best instruments from private collections, and painstakingly sampled them. Sound designers worked hand in hand with software developers to take full advantage of this “synthesizer DNA,” with the goal of offering a highly flexible instrument that would maintain the exact sonic character of the originals while extending their creative potential even further. In the early 1990’s Flinty Badman & Deman Rockers aka the Ragga Twins could be found ripping up the reggae dance floor on sound systems from around the NE London area, but it was on Unity sound that they made their name, playing all over England with a sound system which led to them being the hailed “the Kings of the Dancehall” in England, by some of the top Jamaican systems who claimed they could not compete with the versatility of this awesome duo.

Since then the Ragga Twins have continued to work with some of the biggest names and labels in the industry such as Shut Up and Dance, Shabba Ranks, Aquasky, Deekline and many, many more.

This second Ragga Vocals release from the Ragga Twins on the brand new and exclusive Booty Farm label features long and extended BPM and Key Synced Raps which can be used royalty free in productions, and are expected to be featured on many Dubstep, Breaks, DnB, House and Ragga/Dancehall productions for years to come.

CONNECTD Audio is proud to present ’House & Dance Vocals’ - a soulful collection of royalty-free acapellas and stems from one of the best singers working today. These vocals have been written with house in mind but will work well within any dance genre.

All vocals were written and arranged by Sheree Hicks, who after signing to Def Jam in the mid-90's, has been an ever-present force in the music business. During that time, she's written for Blackstreet/Teddy Riley, Heavy D, C & C Music Factory & more. Sheree has an extensive catalogue and has written in just about every genre of music from R&B to Pop, Gospel, and more recently House, with the likes of Terry Hunter and Josh Milan from Blaze. She also provided the vocals for Loopmasters’ best-selling ‘House Vocal Sessions’.

Inspired by a range of deep, soulful and classic house productions, these silky smooth vocals were recorded in Chicago exclusively for this product using a Focusrite Blue 315 pre-amp, high end EQ’s and Neumann U87 microphone. This all analog signal chain ensures warm, crisp vocals which will fit easily into the mix. The main stems are served without reverb or delay to allow you total creative freedom in the mix.

Vocal Kits: 13 song-starting acapellas and stems ranging from 120 to 125 BPM. Each vocal track comes with a fully mixed version and, where required, separated audio stems for chorus, lead, harmony, ad-libs and phrases. Every Kit is tempo and key-labelled and presented in pristine 24-Bit. You'll find 61 stems and phrases in total.
