Project ALPHA is an intuitive and powerful hybrid musical sound design sample library aimed primarily at Film, Tv, Video Game and media composers.

The library has been designed to effortlessly layer in with your workflow, allowing you to load in a few patches or drag in the open wave files to give your tracks that modern hybrid sound.

Based around a custom Native Instruments Kontakt 5 script, Project ALPHA allows for quick and easy customization of any of the libraries patches.

You have the ability to add and manipulate a range of FX at the click of a button. You have the option to easily EQ out unwanted frequencies or adjust the Amp or Filter ADSR right on the front panel of the UI, allowing for ‘synth like’ patch creation.

Also built into the custom script is the ability to take any of the sounds and run them through a fully flexible step sequencer, allowing for custom ositnatos and rhythms using any of the samples found in the library. You can adjust which key in a chord will play at each step allowing you to quickly tweak a sound to your liking, set your rhythm and step sequencer notes and hold down a chord, allowing you to focus on the creation of your music and not programing in each note by hand.

With all these powerful customization tools you truly have the ability to customize patches beyond recognition and keep the samples sounding unique and fresh for much longer.

Hybrid Tools 3 is contains an intuitive and functional 3D rendered user-interface We designed it so you can make music and have access to all core features with a single click. Whether you want to use the internal mini-browser, which contains the entire library or randomize over 1.500 sample parameters with a single click of our CHAOS button. Whether you want to REVERSE all the sounds or go half, normal or double tempo on our BPM synced groove pulses. It is all there – all within a click.

New Mini-Browser and REVERSE feature
Hybrid Tools 3 is built around an internal mini-browser that allows you to access all sounds immediately. All the 16 core sound classes come preloaded in the browser, so you can audition the entire library without having to load any patches. The mini-browser also contains all sub-banks (example we have 7 banks of wooshes and 11 banks of BPM synced groove pulses). The library also contains a unique REVERSE function that allows you to reverse any bank with a single click. Everything is right at your finger tips, so you can get back to making music.

New 3.0 FX CHAOS Engine
Our new 3.0 FX CHAOS Engine is perhaps the most extreme feature in Hybrid Tools 3. The 3.0 FX CHAOS Engine allows you make over 1.500 sample parameters randomize with one click, while also randomizing our new 8Dio FX System. So both the sample content and the assigned FX will be randomized in one glorious cocktail. The great thing about the CAGE Chaos Engine is that you can control precise how much chaos you want – from a little cosmetic change to the birth of a completely new universe of sounds – all with one click.

Meta-data & Sound Miner
Hybrid Tools Vol. 3 comes completely meta-tagged and in 44.1/24 bit open .wav format. The tags all the elements needed to quickly identify and use the sounds outside the Kontakt environment. Sound designers and editors will quickly be able to find the appropriate sounds through deep descriptors such as Hybrid, Cinematic, Whoosh, Fly By, Doppler, Riser and a variety of other common tags used for sound design, movie and trailer production.

'EDM Acapellas With Rachel' is the follow up to the popular series from Function Loops, bringing you five fashionable EDM Construction Kits including full-length vocal acapellas and loops, as well as instrumental stems, loops and MIDI files. Hard and dirty, yet melodic EDM vibes, inspired by the biggest DJs and artists of today, full of fresh ideas and inspiration.

If you are looking for EDM vocals to spice up your next tracks, then you are in the right place. In this series, every sample pack contains a different vocalist and unique colour of voice, ready to be sampled in any top EDM production. Function Loops welcomes their newest talent, Rachel G.

Each Kit contains the Main Vocal Acapella served as one Full-Length file (Dry & Wet Versions, 24-Bit WAV), letting you chop the vocals as you like to fit you productions. Use the full Acapella, cut parts of it, break them into snippets and use in different productions, up to you!

Also a Backing Vocals Acapellas are included in each Kit, giving you the option to decide if you wish the vocals to be solo or give them the backing touch, that depends of the track you are working on. The Acapellas are also broken into dry loops, in case you don't want to cut the Full Acapella.

The Stems are recorded at low volume and they are Raw (no limiters or maximizers, etc.) giving you full space when mastering the final arrangements. Free You was partially created by 200+ sound designers and partially created in-house by 8DIO. The instrument is best described as a deeply personal and unique textural composition tool. You can literally touch and feel the library at times – from the brightest heavens to the darkest of nightmares.

Free You contains over 4.5GB of heavenly sound designs divided into three core sound categories, including Tonal Textural Melodic Tools, BPM-Synced Rhythmic Pads and a unique Stuttery Rhythms. The Tonal Textural Tools are designed to add sustained and plucked textures to your music. The Rhythmic Pads are fantastic for a momentum and pulse – propelling the music to new places. The library contains over 300 organized presets – that each contains 3 unique sound layers that you can freely sculpt between. Free You contains 26 core banks that each contain 12 different patches. You can move and choose patches in real-time, since they all come pre-loaded.

Free You is not a conventional sample library. We would rather call it a piece of art software – liberated from normal and orthodox conventions of how things should be. It is beautiful, wild and free, yet completely organized easy to use. It is a library that is designed to surprise you and we added a variety of randomization features that can bring you into another dimension with a single click.

Free You is a follow-up to our popular Free Angels and Free Radicals libraries, which were done in collaboration with our awesome community of users. The idea with our Free You Project was to create the most personal collection of memorable sounds. All we asked was that people recorded/created the 5 most important sounds in their life. The 5 sounds that stood closest to their heart. We took all the contributions and put them into one samples library. We edited, programmed, designed and distributed the entire collection and also added a large chunk of personal materials to it. No restrictions, no rules no limits.

Internal Browser

Free You comes with a built-in browser environment, so no more loading files for everything you want to try. You have everything right at your finger tips and the ability to freely switch between patches in real-time. Free You comes with over 300 presets – that each contains three unique sound layers that works like microphone positions. The new user interface allows you to virtually control everything from one single page. Whether it is pan, envelopes, stereo-width, transient shapes or filters, gates, pitch, delays, compression or textural convolutions.

Chaos and Textural Convolutions

Free You also contains a larges et Textural Convolution Delays, which is a new way of using convolution to create textural delays. The idea is to use non-conventional convolution impulses to augment the existing sound. So when the instrument delays – you will not just get a normal delay of the instrument, but also get the delay and texture of the convolution. This concept is called Textural Convolutions and we even set it up, so you can mix textural convolutions with our custom stereo-delay.

Heavenly Effects

Free You Cntains a unique real-time effects section, which includes Delay, Screamer Cabinet Modeling, Bit Crusher/LOFI, Distortion Fuzz, Rotator and no less then two different convolution reverbs. One containing a highly unique set of sound designed convolutions, which is great to create additional texture to the sound. And a second one containing more traditional convolution impulses from our private convolution catalogue. All the effects can be triggered in real-time via keyswitches, so you can layer them when you want to.

New Front-Faced FX and Chaos 3.4 FX

Free You contains two parallel FX systems. The first one is our new Front-Faced FX, which allows you to control the most fundamental effects from the front panel (ex. Dynamics, Filters, Pitch, Delay, Crusher and our new Textural Delay). You can also go deeper with our new Chaos FX system, which includes Step-Based Filtering, EQ, Bit-Crusher, Distortion, Dual Stereo-Delay and an additional convolution system on top of our custom Textural Convolution Delays.
